It's day no.7 of me being ill..
I'm starting to forget how it feels like to be healthy..

Anyways.. it's been a terrific day!!
For one.. Jaq's finally back!!! I missed you jaq!
And Dwi's back too!! YAYYY!!! My party gal's back!! Let's go clubbing tog real soon!!
Had birthday lunch at Meritus Mandarin Mezzanine.. food's good.. not fantastic.. the scones were the yummiest!! and the cream.. AAWWWW.. MELTS in your mouth!! Other dishes were alright.. i love the scones the most! HAha!
Then went shopping with Jing, Cons, Zhiling, Irene, Lijing and Dreiser.. haha loads of peops eh! But one by one they left us and cons jing and i ended up shopping til 8ish when i had to go for a post-christmas dinner party..
Thanks Matt for the invitation! The party was fun!! We actually sang christmas carols! like with the piano and everything!! oh oh oh!! There were even harmonisation! How pro is THAt man?!?! and we played cranium too.. haha! intellectual HUH!! It was really fun.. though i didn't really eat much coz i was so full from the lunch buffet.. i hate buffets.. heh

Black Cat Myth Proven True

yes.. i couldn't avoid the misfortune.. a black cat crossed my path! Or what i call.. my intended path.. coz it shashayed pass like 10m infront of me..

and the myth is TRUE!! stayed in sch til 11ish.. missed my last bus.. needed to use the toilet.. nearest BP station under renovation.. started to rain.. walked in rain to next nearest Shell station.. took detour.. road reconstruction.. missed my stop.. had to walk to desired bus stop.. continued to rain.. 10m from bus stop.. saw bus leave.. then i finally took my bus home.. if i hadn't know.. i BEt the rain stopped the moment i stepped into my house..

WTH..

heh.. but nevertheless.. thoday's been a good day! gonna catch Kungfu Hustle tom! Heard it was hilarious =)

Day no.3

This is day no.3 of me being down with throat infection, flu and sporadic fever.. yup haven't gone to the doc's.. kinda wondering how long will it take my natural immune system to combat the nasty bug.. =) so.. well.. i'm still counting down!! Probably wun go to the lab tomorrow unless i can breathe properly again.. or not have giddy spells from time to time..

Anyways.. I caught my first Mary Poppins yesterday!! Man!! How could my childhood be deprived of such a wonderful film?! I should really talk to my parents about this =P the show was lovely!! The songs were fantastically melodious!! "a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down.. the medicine go down.." lyrics dun come like that anymore do they.. :)

And the party last night was great too! mY tiramisu was a bit hit.. i'm so proud of myself heh! everyone thought it was yummy!! Justin wanted me to teach him to make it for valentine's next year *grins* and it great to see all my drama friends and play drinking games! Parties rock.. i love parties parties parties!!

Met lye, theres and weiqi today too! went shopping and bought myself a cute white skirt! i love white skirts.. though i gotta be careful not to have vpl ;) and bumped into Reuben at taka coffee bean.. Haven't seen him in ages! anyways.. this is getting draggy.. i wonder who's interested in knowing all these about me..!! But since i'm in the mood to write.. i let my fingers do their TTHHHAANNGGG... haha!!

My nose hurts like hell..
It feels like World War III is commencing in my nose..
yes i got sick on christmas night!!

Sucks.. and FYI.. i was sick LAST christmas night too.. help?! What's wrong with me?? Was supposed to go to Coastes in sentosa with dear ruolers!! Sipping cocktails.. counting down all.. but NNnnnooo my nose decided to run faster than forrest gump.. (disgusting reference i know.. blame it on my nose) ...
BUT.. all turned out good afterall.. Ruo came over to my place.. I got candles, wine glasses and sparkling juice (yes no alcohol coz oh! I'm sick!) and we ended up sitting by the pool and drinking and talking about.. well.. everything! Esp about a certain someone *wink wink wink* heh heh.. Couldn't have a more wonderful disease-plagued Christmas Night =) Thanks babe.. love you loads! Jaqles! Wish you were here with us! Our infamous power of three baby! *grins*

Anyways.. i woke up this morning with a worse case of flu and sore throat than last night.. Chrismukka Backlash going at it like never before eh.. Supposed to go shopping with huilin after christmas lunch with my aunty and folks but think i'm gonna stay home instead.. sleep and rest til the party later tonight.. *weak smile*

I lluurrrvvvee christmas!! Esp walking along dear ole orchard road.. soaking in the christmas jingles and surrounded by the shimmering decorations.. feels totally christmassyy!! furthermore.. i just caught the latest episode of O.C!! It's about.. CHRISMUKKA!! Man i lluurrvvee seth!! and yes.. i'm not a jew.. but i totally lurve chrismukka too!!! My favourite song of the moment is "Maybe this Christmas" by Ron Sexsmith =) totally immerses you in the christmas mooooood *grins* My week's been wonderful!! the highlight so far was Slinky with Ruo!! Music was damn bloody good.. hard core rave you call it? Ah i've no idea.. i just know that i've the alcohol and the beats are just so yummily danceable =)

Oh and i'm trying to make tiramisu for tomorrow's christmas party.. gotta whip up the stupid whipping cream which happens to be incredulousy UNwhippable!! WTH?!?! It's like damn heavy and viscous in texture and after i whipped it for about 10mins.. it freaking become LUMPY!! I dun want lumpy cream!! *help* Think i bought the wrong brand probably.. this didn't happen the last time i made tiramisu.. =( guess i gotta go to the market to get more whipping cream tomorrow.. no tiramisu for tonight's christmas dinner then.. =( wanted to get lemons for cheesecake i wanted to make tonight (wanted to give you for christmas ruolers.. )... but NO LEMONS EVERYWHERE!! WTH?!?! Where have all the lemons gone???

I'm so glad i got into my class in hc and met my wonderful classmates..
Just had an early christmas party coz many are flying off for christmas..
had so much fun making the bread & butter pudding & potato salad.. doing the deco.. setting up the tree.. spraying snow spray.. just hanging out.. wearing decorations meant for the x'mas tree.. ;p
